TELEWEST DRIVES DOWN COST OF DIGITAL LIVING

TELEWEST Communications, leading broadband cable communications operator, have announced a new range of digital television and phone packages.
The new digital ‘Starter’ package starts at £9 per month and includes multi-channel digital television, a free phone line and free calls, TV email, games and online shopping.
Philip Jansen, Managing Director of Telewest’s Consumer Division, said: “Compare what you get for £9 with the cost of keeping the family entertained in other ways, from watching films at the cinema to eating out at restaurants or going to the pub. Our packages are not only great value entertainment but will allow thousands more to join the digital world.”
Telewest Communications is honouring the pledge it made to consumers in July, by resuming full marketing and sales of Telewest Active Digital from October.
