MERGER FORMS CHRISTIE DIGITAL SYSTEMS

CHRISTIE and Christie Digital Systems, who have regional offices in the UK, have announced they will merge to form one company under the name Christie Digital Systems.
The merger, expected to be finalised in April 2001, will create one company dedicated to providing projection solutions for cinema, control rooms, board rooms, conference centres, large venues, rental and staging, simulation, 3D, and the emerging digital cinema marketplace.

With these combined strengths, we are poised to lead the way in providing unparalleled image display solutions for entertainment, control rooms and corporate environments.
Under the new organisation, Christie Digital Systems will maintain headquarters in Cypress, California and Canada, and they will also continue to operate sales and marketing offices in Europe, Japan, Singapore, the UK and the US.
