Printout lend support to charity

Printout Video Publishing have shown their support for charity with the production of a DVD in aid of the Guildford branch of Samaritans.
The special DVD was screened at a fundraising ball, ‘The Red Hot Ball’, on the November 2 at the Loseley House in Guildford.
The ball, which was organised by the Friends of Guildford Samaritans (FOGS), raised £10,000 for the charity.
Printout were first approached regarding the project by First Image Films, those responsible for the concept, shooting and post-production of the DVD, and for whom Printout are a distributor.
First Image Films also have a strong connection with the FOGS committee.
Terry Vermigle, Managing Director of First Image films said of the DVD: “It was designed to inform the audience of the work and philosophy of the Samaritans. It contained a sponsors’ loop, a holding frame and an information short. Printout authored these programmes to DVD at no cost. Having it on DVD meant we could move between the loop and the film, as and when we wanted, seamlessly. It also provided a very portable and good quality format for projection.”
