Studio Berlin invests in Chyron Hyperx for the World Cup 2006

Chyron Corporation has announced the investment of an HD Character Generator (CG) in an HD Outside Broadcast (OB) truck by Studio Berlin, a partner of major facilities provider Studio Hamburg, Germany.
The installation was carried out by systems integrator, Thomson Broadcast and Media Solutions.
When Germany takes to the world’s stage for football’s premier event, The World Cup 2006, Studio Berlin, a partner of Studio Hamburg, will kick off its OB broadcasts by recording and transmitting in HD from its six HD mobile trucks, which will cover live matches from a number of stadiums throughout the country.
Chyron’s Duet HyperX, a powerful HD/SD switchable CG that features Chyron’s Lyric 3D+ software, will provide Studio Berlin with real-time, highly sophisticated graphics keeping track of those all important scores as well as player performance and match statistics.
