Dischromatics achieves ISO Accreditation

Dischromatics Ltd, based in Abercarn, Newport has recently been recommended for accreditation to the ISO9001:2000 quality standard and ISO14001:2004 environmental standard following a successful audit by SGS on September 16.
Recently the dynamic South Wales company has become the biggest UK-based partner of Sony DADC, Europe’s largest CD and DVD manufacturing company. As its customer base grows and investment in state-of-the-art duplication and IT equipment continues, Dischromatics believes that its latest success emphasises the company’s commitment to quality products and service.
In the last 12 months the company has undergone major changes in almost every area of the business from complete refurbishment of the offices and warehouse facility to installation of a new computer network and MAC system enhancing the artwork department. A new website is due to be launched in October and the company has even applied to register its logo as a trademark, synonymous with quality and expertise.
Dischromatics is naturally optimistic about its future and the company is already well on track to record yet another year of sustained growth. Confidence that the company will continue to maintain its position with Sony DADC and grow its in-house duplication and thermal printing business. In the meantime, Dischromatics hopes that in gaining ISO accreditation itself, it has succeeded in helping to promote Wales as a nation of quality within the UK and Europe.
