APTN Library signs deal with Thai broadcaster

ITV Thailand has signed a representation deal with APTN Library, which will see hundreds of news stories available for licensing through APTN.
The deal allows APTN to provide and license ITV footage to broadcasters and content producers around the world.
APTN’s archives already contain over 250 items from ITV, covering many different subjects, including the recent Muslim insurgency, bird flu and the devastating events of last year’s tsunami. The footage can be searched in APTN’s database, at www.aptnlibrary.com.
Mr Songsak Premsuk, Managing Director of ITV said: "This is a great opportunity for us to work with APTN on our archives."
ITV is Thailand’s third most popular, and only independent, TV channel. It is widely regarded as one of Thailand’s best news channels, having won numerous awards in its ten-year history.
Véronique Foucault, APTN Library Manager, said: “With this new relationship, it is easier for producers to obtain and clear ITV footage, and we are very pleased to add ITV to the growing list of organisations that we represent.”
