ETT helps Tandberg Television make 50% cut in enterprise network budget

As a direct result of working with technology and data service integrator ETT, Tandberg Television, a leading provider of live and on-demand digital TV delivery solutions, has achieved 50 per cent savings in its enterprise network budget and increased operational efficiency by 75 per cent.
The two companies have been partners since 1998. Today, Tandberg Television relies on ETT to source, maintain and provision its entire global, fixed-link network in the UK, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, China and the US.
Lindsay Morgan, Tandberg Television’s information solutions service delivery manager, said: “We used to budget about £600,000 annually for fixed network services but by standardising on ETT technologies and support, we now only need to budget £300,000 – a saving of 50 per cent.
“In addition, we have two employees devoted to infrastructure. One used to spend 50 per cent of their time managing suppliers, the other up to 25 per cent dealing with routers, circuits and other technical enquiries.
“All of this is now managed by ETT – resulting in a major increase in operational efficiency.”
