Senior Project Engineer appointed at Megahertz

Megahertz Broadcast Systems has boosted its technical staff by appointing Andrew Cox to the position of Senior Project Engineer.
Cox joins the company from the US office of Canadian technology integration company, AZCAR, which holds an 80% shareholding in Megahertz Broadcast Systems. His new responsibilities will see him managing and engineering many of the more complex projects that Megahertz undertakes.
Megahertz’ technical director Steve Burgess says: “Andrew already has a thorough understanding of the business in which we operate, having spent six years with AZCAR where he was responsible for designing and integrating a number of key projects. His knowledge of the broadcast industry and the technical issues it faces in these fast moving times makes him a real asset to the Megahertz team. We are delighted to have him on board.”
Prior to joining AZCAR in 1999, Andrew Cox worked for European Business News/CNBC Europe as chief engineer and for the engineering departments of MAR-COM Systems and Sony Broadcast International.
