DK’s MSD meters make monitoring audio easy for video editors

Altered Images, one of the UK’s major resellers of technology for the television production and corporate communications industry, has been supplying DK-Technologies’ MSD range of audio meters to its Avid customer base.
Established eight years ago, Altered Images is now the largest Avid reseller in the UK. The company specialises in delivering complete turnkey solutions, from consultancy to design and installation with full maintenance support.
DK-Technologies’ MSD600 and MSD100 audio meters have rapidly become integral to the AVID systems it supplies because they are accurate and easily upgradable.
Clive Haydon, Altered Images’ Operation Director, said: “DK meters are ideally suited to customers who are working on-line and need to monitor audio output. We specify the flagship MSD600 when there is a requirement for more sophisticated monitoring or the smaller MSD100 for simpler applications.
“The fact that these meters do everything from monitoring audio to phase alignment in one box is a major advantage, especially when you are supplying audio meters to video editors who don’t always have a background in audio monitoring. We have looked at other meters on the market but there is nothing else available that is as accurate and as flexible as the DK range.”
