Digidesign ships D-Command worksurface
Digidesign has announced initial shipments of the Digidesign D-Command tactile worksurface, the newest member of the ICON integrated console family.
Incorporating much of the same functionality, industrial design, and custom workflow capabilities as the flagship ICON D-Control tactile worksurface, D-Command packs amazing control and ICON-exclusive Pro Tools functionality into a medium-format console at a more affordable price.
“The excitement surrounding D-Command’s debut at the 2005 NAB show was incredible. It stems from the huge success of D-Control, which in its first year has been installed into just about every application that was the mainstay of more traditional mixing consoles,” said Rich Nevens, Digidesign director of worldwide console sales.
“With D-Command, more audio professionals than ever are now able to make the switch and benefit from the unique mixing power and functionality of the ICON integrated console environment,” he said.
