Megahertz moves to new state of the art premises

Megahertz Broadcast Systems has announced its move to new premises in Witchford, near Ely in Cambridgeshire.
The company, which has experience in both 'turnkey' fixed projects and the design and construction of sophisticated outside broadcast vehicles, is now based in a state of the art facility that was specifically designed for its needs.
The new facility at the Lancaster Way Business Park, is twice the size of its old building and incorporates offices and workshop areas. With much more space at its disposal, Megahertz Broadcast Systems can now handle up to three major OB projects in the building at the same time.
Commenting on the move, which was completed in record time over the Christmas holiday period, Director Steve Burgess said: “After spending the last couple of years being restricted by lack of room at our old premises in Cambridge, it is really good to have space and facilities designed specifically for our needs.”
Over the years Megahertz Broadcast Systems has built OBs for many of the world’s top broadcasters, including the BBC for which it recently built Units 10 and 11, as well as a Live Music Mobile sound control vehicle.
Its most recent projects have included an HD vehicle for Kuwait Television and an HD-ready vehicle for the BBC, both of which are being completed at the new premises.
Megahertz Broadcast Systems can now be contacted at: Unit 39 Lancaster Way Business Park, Witchford, Ely, Cambridgeshire.
