'Film on the Web' conference for Bradford Film Festival

The National Museum of Photography, Film & Television is to host its first 'Film on the Web' conference at the 11th Bradford Film Festival on March 7-8 2005.
With the theme of Connecting People with Film, the conference aims to inspire and motivate web designers, developers, writers and decision makers involved in the web and film industries. It will explore the current and future states of film on the Internet with a series of seminars, talks and panel discussions with a variety of speakers from the industry.
Confirmed speakers include Jason Arber, co-founder and Senior Editor of online arts magazine Pixelsurgeon, Neil Young, Film Journalist for Jigsaw Lounge, Joe Navine of Winona eSolutions who created the 2004 London Film Festival website and Tom Woolley & Tim Burnett from the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television.
Topics to be covered include Marketing Film on the Web, Writing for the Web, Community Growth, an introduction to CSS and Web Accessibility, Database Websites and Online Booking.
