Matek announces appointment of new Sales Manager
Reseller and system integrator Matek Business Media has announced the recent appointment of Ben Leaver as Sales Manager, Media Systems.
Leaver joins Matek from Northamber Distribution, one of the largest distributors in the sector. Leaver has an established reputation for customer relations and particular expertise in IBM system sales, which will further Matek’s goal to be the top IBM reseller in the industry.
James Hunt, Sales Director at Matek, said: “Ben’s inclusion in our team will provide the necessary expertise and additional bandwidth to service our large broadcast accounts. He will also be responsible for solution sales into the CAD market for which we have got some astoundingly fast systems becoming available. We are very excited about Ben’s appointment.”
Leaver worked previously with MAX Black before returning to Northamber to manage IBM workstation sales.
