PACT OUTLINE A-Z FOR ANIMATION SCRIPTWRITERS
PACT are co-ordinating an A - Z outline guide for producers on how to get the best from animation scriptwriters.
The event, to take place between 2 and 5pm on July 24, 2001, will be chaired by Kate Canning of The Canning Factory. Speakers are to include Robin Lyons of Siriol, Ken Anderson of Scriptonite and Colin Davis of Cosgrove Hall.
The event will cover: How to find good writers and how to judge a writer for animation; what should you expect from your writer; differences between the writer and creator of intellectual property; protecting your rights; single writers vs writing teams; US vs UK/European approaches to scriptwriting; the role of the script editor; and working with creators, authors and illustrators.
