Vizrt Refreshes Live Production Portfolio

News Image
Vizrt has announced a major refresh of its live production portfolio, introducing three new solutions – TriCaster Vizion AI/R, 3Play Vivid and TriCaster Prizm – alongside the new LivePanel Pro feature.

The company said the refreshed portfolio is designed to support immersive graphics and environments, enhanced replay and slow-motion production, and more comprehensive control of live productions.

TriCaster Vizion AI/R combines real-time AI keying with augmented reality graphics as an integrated subscription add-on for TriCaster Vizion. The technology is designed to make immersive visual elements and virtual environments more accessible without complex builds or specialist skills.

The add-on is intended to work with existing production set-ups, providing greater flexibility for professional content production at scale.

Vizrt has also reworked its TriCaster portfolio to give users a clearer progression between systems.

TriCaster Mini is positioned as an entry point for live production, with support across multiple hardware configurations, including some laptops.

TriCaster Prizm is a new scalable solution aimed at organisations and mid-tier productions requiring professional production capabilities. It is intended for applications including school broadcasts, live events, corporate communications and sports streaming.

At the higher end, TriCaster Vizion provides greater flexibility and performance for production teams scaling to more demanding live workflows. It can be deployed either on-premises or in the cloud.

All three systems are built around NDI, providing IP-native connectivity, flexible IP workflows and integration with third-party systems.

TriCaster Prizm and TriCaster Vizion introduce new 2RU hardware, incorporating onboard audio and dual power redundancy. Vizrt says the integrated architecture is intended to reduce potential single points of failure in mission-critical environments while providing a platform for future software development.

The company has also introduced 3Play Vivid, a new replay and slow-motion solution for live sports and events. The system combines features from the existing 3Play range and supports 10-bit HDR, with deployment available on-premises or in the cloud.

Meanwhile, LivePanel Pro is being introduced on Vizrt’s mid- and top-tier production switchers. The browser-based interface provides control of switching, audio, media, automation and custom macros.

The updated interface includes a new designer, ready-to-use workflows, expanded functionality and a widget-based approach intended to simplify production control.

The refreshed portfolio reflects Vizrt’s focus on scaling live production capabilities across different levels of operation, from entry-level systems through to larger professional and cloud-based workflows.
