Riedel Communications Appoints Lutz Rathmann As CEO

Riedel Communications has appointed Lutz Rathmann as Chief Executive Officer, giving him overall responsibility for the company's Product Division and Managed Technology Division.

In parallel, Anthony Zuyderhoff, currently Executive Director Global Sales, will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The new leadership structure takes effect on 1 January 2027 and follows the planned retirement of Jan Eveleens, CEO of Riedel Communications' Product Division, at the end of 2026.

Riedel said the reorganisation is designed to bring its Product Division and Managed Technology Division into closer alignment, pairing product development with live production expertise to strengthen execution across the business.

While both divisions will retain their teams, expertise and market focus, they will collaborate more closely. Riedel will also unify its customer-facing sales, service, support and marketing functions under a shared go-to-market leadership.

Before returning in 2020 to lead managed technology, Rathmann held senior posts at Riedel, including Vice Director of Global Events and Head of Project Management.

Thomas Riedel, Founder and Owner of Riedel Communications and the Riedel Group, recently acquired Arri, the Munich-based premium manufacturer of camera and lighting technology for motion picture and live entertainment.
