Sky Sports Secures SANZAAR Rugby Rights

Sky Sports has agreed a new multi‑year deal with SANZAAR to show international rugby from 2026 to 2030.

The agreement gives Sky exclusive rights to the inaugural Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry tour, with New Zealand undertaking an eight‑match trip to South Africa starting on Friday. Coverage will include all four Test matches against the Springboks and four additional fixtures versus club opposition.

The partnership also covers South Africa's return tour of New Zealand in 2030. During the term, Sky will broadcast The Rugby Championship in 2027, 2028 and 2029, the Bledisloe Cup, and other SANZAAR internationals in 2026 and 2030 — including exclusive live coverage of Australia and Argentina home internationals across August and September 2026. Fans in the UK and Ireland will also be able to watch clips and highlights on Sky’s digital and social platforms.
