SSL To Highlight Live Production Technologies At PLASA Show 2026

Solid State Logic (SSL) will showcase a range of new live production technologies at PLASA Show 2026, where the company will demonstrate its compact System T TCA Tour audio production system, advanced SSL Live workflows and its SSL Live Trade-In Program at Stand J6.

The exhibition will mark the debut of the TCA Tour, a compact fly-away audio production system built entirely from System T components and designed for rapid deployment across broadcast, touring and live production applications.

Housed in a bespoke desktop portable format, the system features a 16-fader control surface with integrated onboard I/O, delivered pre-wired for immediate use. The platform includes eight mic/line inputs, four line outputs, headphone monitoring, a built-in network switch and a custom mounting system for a touchscreen and a PC running SSL's Tempest Control App.

Available with either DFT or DFT+ fader tiles, the DFT+ version adds OLED displays and individual metering for each fader. The system also incorporates ruggedised etherCON® and opticalCON® connectivity, enabling fast and secure links to external racks containing Tempest Engines and I/O for quick deployment in the field.

Alongside the TCA Tour, SSL will demonstrate the latest SSL Live workflows on its L650 and L350 Plus consoles, highlighting a range of production tools designed to improve efficiency for touring and installed sound applications.

Among the technologies on display will be SolidPitch, SSL's onboard vocal tuning and creative processing tool, offering pitch correction, vocal effects, doubling and harmonisation for live performances.

Visitors will also be able to see SSL Live's integration with KLANG immersive processors, enabling engineers to create and manage immersive monitor mixes directly from the console. SSL said the integration combines flexible routing with intuitive control to streamline monitor mixing workflows.

The demonstrations will also feature workflow, monitoring, automation and control enhancements designed to help engineers work more efficiently while maintaining consistency across complex live productions.

SSL will also use the show to promote its SSL Live Trade-In Program, which is available until 31 October 2026. The initiative offers professional live console owners trade-in values on existing systems to support migration to the SSL Live platform.

"Visitors interested in upgrading their live sound platform will also be able to learn more about the SSL Live Trade-In Program, which provides professional live console owners with a simple and commercially compelling path into the Superior Sonic Performance of SSL Live."

The company said the programme is intended to provide users with an accessible route to the SSL Live ecosystem while benefiting from the platform's sonic performance, workflow flexibility and ongoing development.
