SSL Launches TCA Tour: A Flagship Fly-Away Production System
Solid State Logic (SSL) has introduced TCA Tour, a robust and portable audio production system designed to deliver the flagship power of System T in a compact, fly-away configuration. Built for the rigorous demands of touring, live sound, and remote broadcast, the system is centered around a new 16-fader desktop control frame with integrated I/O and pre-wired networking. Engineered for global transport, the entire setup is housed in flight-case modules weighing under 23 kg each, ensuring that professionals can deploy SSL's renowned sound quality and advanced AoIP routing anywhere in the world without the footprint of a traditional large-format console.
Designed for rapid deployment on site and on tour
TCA Tour features a new desktop-format control frame with 16 faders and integrated onboard I/O, fully pre-wired and packaged for immediate use. The system includes eight mic/line inputs, four line outputs, headphone monitoring, a built-in network switch, and a custom adjustable mount for a touchscreen and a PC running SSL's Tempest Control App.
Available in two fader tile options (DFT and DFT+), the DFT+ version adds per fader OLED displays and individual fader metering. For rugged touring reliability, etherCON® and opticalCON® connections provide fast, secure links to external racks housing Tempest Engines and I/O.
Depending on I/O requirements, the system splits across two or three flight cased modules, each weighing under 23 kg including the case, making TCA Tour easy to transport, ship, and deploy worldwide.
Built for scalable AoIP and modern production workflows
Fully compatible with all System T DSP engines (TE1, TE2, and VTE), TCA Tour integrates seamlessly with SSL Network I/O and supports third party Dante, AES67, and ST 2110 devices. The system also supports fader expansion via SSL's range of System T Remote Fader Tiles, as well as dedicated monitor and main fader controls through the addition of a Remote Master Tile.
The result is a highly flexible solution for corporate, broadcast, and live sound providers who need to bring their own console to an event without compromising on power, workflow, or sonic performance.
"TCA Tour delivers the full capability of System T in a portable, robust, and scalable package with minimal space requirements," says Tom Knowles, Director of Product Management at Solid State Logic. "Whether operating in live sound, remote production, or temporary environments for cloud or virtualised workflows, TCA Tour provides direct AoIP routing, integrated FX processing, and SSL's renowned sound quality - tailored for the demands of modern production."
TCA Tour will begin shipping in July 2026. For more information, visit www.solidstatelogic.com.
