SKY BOX OFFICE TO BROADCAST 40 LIVE MATCHES

SKY BOX Office have announced that they will broadcast 40 live matches from the FA Barclaycard Premiership each season for the next three years.
The extra live matches will be shown on a new service called Premiership Plus, available to all Sky digital subscribers on channel 433.
Sky digital viewers will be able to see all 106 live televised matches from the FA Barclaycard Premiership, broadcast on Sky Sports and Sky Box Office.
The first live match scheduled for Premiership Plus will be Chelsea vs Newcastle United on August 19. To date, 11 matches have been selected for live broadcast by a Premier League panel, featuring 14 different clubs. During the season each club will be seen live between one and six times on the new service.
Most Premiership Plus matches will be broadcast from 1.30pm on Sundays with the regular kick-off time 2pm. Midweek matches will be on-air at 7.30pm with kick-off scheduled at 8pm.
Sky Box Office will broadcast a live football programme around each live match with a comprehensive 30-minute preview programme plus half-time and full-time studio analysis. The main presenter on Premiership Plus will be Marcus Buckland with former Tottenham, Leeds and Arsenal manager George Graham his regular expert guest.

The live matches on Premiership Plus will always be selected by the Premiership Panel - composed of a representative from the FA Premier League plus one from each of the four broadcasters - once Sky Sports have made their live selections for each week. (CD)
