Sky Sports Secures Exclusive UK Rights To All UEFA Europa And Conference League Matches

Sky has agreed a new four-year deal with UEFA to show every match from the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League exclusively in the UK from the 2027/28 season.

The agreement will add 342 European fixtures each season to Sky’s schedule, meaning customers can often watch live football seven days a week on Sky Sports during the European campaign.

English teams have thrived in these tournaments recently, winning three titles in the past three years and drawing record audiences, including last season's most-watched European game featuring Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

"This partnership is made possible by the strength of our business model and brand as the home of sport in the UK. Alongside the Premier League, EFL, SPFL, WSL and more, fans will now regularly enjoy domestic or European football every day of the week during the season on Sky Sports."

Sky said it remains the home of football in the UK & Ireland, showing at least 215 Premier League matches each season, more than 1,000 from the EFL, up to 60 from the SPFL, 118 from the Women’s Super League, plus coverage of the Bundesliga.

The broadcaster reports strong momentum in 2025, with Premier League viewing hours up 20%, the Women’s Super League up 22%, and female viewership rising 14% year-on-year.

Record audiences have marked the year, including Sky Sports’ biggest-ever weekend (27–28 September) and Sunday (13 April), alongside new highs for the Ryder Cup, The Open, The Masters, the ICC Women’s World Cup, Grand Slam and World Grand Prix darts, and multiple Formula 1 races. The US Open men’s final also delivered a record peak since tennis returned to Sky Sports in 2023.

In Italy, Sky has expanded its UEFA partnership with exclusive rights to 185 of 203 UEFA Champions League matches and all 342 Europa League and Conference League games.
