SIMBA Deploys Brazil-Wide Streaming Network

Broadpeak has been selected by SIMBA to support a new high‑performance content delivery network (CDN) across Brazil.

Built on Broadpeak's Advanced CDN software, the platform will deliver live and on‑demand streaming for three of the country's leading broadcasters while enabling the launch of SIMBA’s CDN‑as‑a‑service (CDNaaS) for high‑quality, low‑latency video delivery nationwide.

SIMBA, a joint venture formed by Record, RedeTV! and SBT to oversee content licensing and distribution for commercial broadcasters, is investing in its own CDN to gain greater control over video delivery and quality of experience. The initiative supports growing demand for premium live and VOD content and opens new streaming distribution services for third‑party providers through SIMBA CDNaaS.
