Adder Technology Expands Its API Capabilities

Adder Technology has expanded its API capabilities across the ADDERView® Matrix range, empowering customers with enhanced automation, deeper system integration, and streamlined remote control functionality.
These powerful new API features allow IT administrators and software developers to transform how they manage and interact with IP KVM environments.
With the launch of these enhancements, users can now take full advantage of dynamic API control on ADDERView Matrix products, unlocking greater flexibility and seamless integration across wider IT and broadcast ecosystems. Adder APIs are also available on the ADDERLink® INFINITY range, ADDERLink XDIP, and the new ARDx™ next generation, out-of-band, KVM over IP technology.
"The expansion of our API support across the ADDERView Matrix range is about putting control directly into our customers' hands," said John Halksworth, senior product manager, Adder Technology. "Whether you're managing global IT infrastructure, high-pressure control room environments, or industrial automation systems, Adder APIs enable intelligent, scalable, and responsive control right across your operations."
Adder's built-in APIs are designed to enhance KVM features and functionality by integrating seamlessly with existing workflows, third-party solutions, and applications. From server access and management to video wall control, the latest API capabilities provide users with:
• Remote and Automated Management: Execute commands and trigger workflows without physical intervention, enabling efficient and scalable remote operations.
• Seamless System Integration: Connect with video walls, HMI automation tools, security systems, and IT service management platforms.
• Scalability and Customisation: Tailor KVM behaviour to exact operational requirements and expand functionality across multi-site or hybrid infrastructures
Depending on the solution and customer requirement, Adder's APIs can adhere to standard protocols including RESTful APIs over HTTPS and the OpenAPI Specification (OAS), giving users the freedom to build, automate, and control in ways that suit their specific environments. Combined with the matrix switching capabilities, the potential for customisation and automation is virtually limitless.
Whether it's simplifying IT workflows, enabling control room fingertip access, or embedding IP KVM into mission-critical industrial processes, Adder’s expanded API offering enables users to unlock new possibilities with minimal overhead.
