Wisycom Expands Wireless Ecosystem

News Image
Wisycom has expanded its professional wireless technology portfolio with the introduction of several new products and updates aimed at improving RF efficiency and infrastructure flexibility for large-scale production environments.

The company unveiled its latest solutions at InfoComm 2026, including an enhanced version of the MPR60 Wideband IEM/IFB Receiver, the new MATF Wideband Antenna Matrix and the PFL Portable RF over Fiber (RFoF) Box. According to Wisycom, the technologies are designed to support increasingly complex wireless infrastructures across broadcast, live events, corporate productions and RF-over-fiber applications.

A key enhancement comes through a firmware update to the MPR60 Wideband IEM/IFB Receiver, which introduces a new three-channel IFB mode. The update allows up to three IFB audio channels to be carried on a single 200 kHz RF carrier. When used with Wisycom's MTK982 transmitter, the system can support as many as 60 IFB audio channels within an 8 MHz television channel or 45 channels within a 6 MHz TV channel, significantly increasing spectrum efficiency for wireless communications deployments.

Wisycom also introduced the MATF Wideband Antenna Matrix, a solution developed for complex multi-zone wireless infrastructures and RF-over-fiber environments. The unit supports both coaxial and fiber inputs and is designed to consolidate multiple rack-based components into a single system capable of combining up to eight RF zones in diversity.

The MATF also includes four coaxial outputs that can function either as four equal buffered outputs in an 8:1 configuration or two equal buffered outputs in a 4:2 setup, enabling users to connect additional receivers without requiring extra signal splitters.

In addition, Wisycom announced the availability of its new PFL Portable RFoF Box, a rugged portable system designed for use in demanding broadcast, outside broadcast (OB), location sound and live production applications.

The portable unit provides true diversity over fiber through a dual-converter architecture and includes Ethernet connectivity for remote management and Dante workflows. It also features a Neutrik opticalCON DUO interface and can operate using either mains power or V-lock battery sources commonly used with field production equipment.

The latest additions reflect growing industry demand for scalable and efficient wireless infrastructure solutions as productions continue to increase in complexity and mobility requirements.
