ACT Entertainment And NETGEAR Announce Partnership
ACT Entertainment and NETGEAR have announced a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening interoperability between NETGEAR's AV networking technology and key solutions from ACT Entertainment’s portfolio, including tvONE, Green Hippo and lighting control brands.
The companies said the collaboration establishes verified compatibility between NETGEAR switches and ACT technologies, giving live production professionals a validated networking framework for lighting, video processing and media playback applications. The partnership will be showcased at InfoComm 2026, where demonstrations at ACT Booth N6813 will feature NETGEAR switches operating alongside ACT solutions.
According to the companies, the agreement is designed to simplify deployment and reduce operational complexity in environments where low-latency performance and network reliability are critical. By validating integration across multiple technologies, the partnership aims to provide users with greater confidence in deploying network-centric production systems.
As live productions increasingly shift toward IP-based and connected workflows, companies across the industry are focusing on ensuring compatibility between infrastructure and production technologies.
"ACT Entertainment is thrilled to announce this full-stack production partnership with NETGEAR AV, which ensures that the entire production ecosystem — from control to processing to playback — is verified and supported on the network's leading production IP backbone," said Bob Bonniol, Chief Innovation Officer, ACT Entertainment. "As productions continue to evolve toward increasingly network-centric workflows, this collaboration gives our customers the confidence that their fully validated, interoperable systems are backed by world-class support and training resources through our U.S.-based ACT Academy and UK-based Pixel Academy."
The companies said the collaboration is intended to support production teams seeking streamlined deployment and enhanced interoperability as live production environments continue to evolve.
