Lawo To Showcase Edge One And IP Workflow Solutions

News Image
Lawo is set to showcase its latest IP-based professional AV solutions at InfoComm 2026, with the company highlighting its newly introduced Edge One platform as the centrepiece of its exhibition.

The event takes place from June 17 to 19 in Las Vegas, where visitors to Booth N6463 in the North Hall will be able to explore Lawo's software-driven workflows designed for live events, corporate production, education, and houses of worship.

First introduced at NAB 2026, Edge One is described by Lawo as the world’s only converged AV I/O system featuring integrated processing and JPEG XS compression. The compact stagebox combines SDI and HDMI video connectivity, JPEG XS encoding and decoding, frame synchronisation and Lawo’s mc²-grade audio DSP processing within a single device.

The system also supports analog, MADI and USB-C audio connectivity, while user-swappable interface modules provide support for microphone, line and commentary applications. According to the company, the platform can be configured with audio-only, video-only or combined audio and video packages, alongside additional licensing and subscription-based expansion options.

Alongside Edge One, Lawo will demonstrate its HOME platform, which provides device discovery, orchestration, monitoring and access control across both Lawo and third-party IP systems. The platform is designed for software-based infrastructures and includes a range of HOME Apps operating as scalable microservices on standard servers.

Among the applications on display will be the HOME mc² DSP app, which virtualises the functionality of Lawo’s A__UHD Core processing engine within a software environment. Lawo said the application delivers the same low-latency performance and operational behaviour as its FPGA-based hardware systems while supporting large-scale DSP processing and immersive audio workflows.

The company will also present its HOME Video Monitor app, a browser-based monitoring solution capable of displaying up to nine concurrent video streams with optional audio metering across desktops, tablets, smartphones and AR devices. Native WebRTC support and integrated transcoding are designed to support secure, low-latency monitoring within distributed IP environments.

Also featured at the show is the HOME Power Core app, the virtualised version of Lawo's Power Core platform. The software supports processing, routing, monitoring and mixing workflows while offering compatibility with standards including SMPTE ST 2110, AES67, Dante, NDI and SRT.

In addition to its software portfolio, Lawo will showcase its mc² hardware range, including the mc²56 Audio Production Console and mc²36 All-in-One mixing consoles, both designed to integrate with HOME-based IP workflows.

Lawo said the demonstrations at InfoComm 2026 reflect the growing role of software-defined infrastructure, open standards and IP-based workflows within the professional AV sector.
