PTZOptics Unveils Intelligent Video Vision

News Image
PTZOptics is set to showcase its latest advancements in intelligent video and camera automation at NAB Show 2026, presenting new demonstrations and technology previews aimed at broadcast, sports and proAV markets.

At the centre of its exhibit will be the company’s Move 4K PTZ cameras combined with Horizon, a next-generation web-based control platform. The integrated solution is now fully available, offering a production system designed to deliver broadcast-quality 4K video alongside centralised, browser-based camera control.

The Move 4K series provides flexible connectivity and reliability across a range of applications, while Horizon enables users to manage cameras, automation and integrations remotely without the need for dedicated hardware. Together, the technologies introduce capabilities such as intelligent tracking, automation and continuous software-driven upgrades.

"As the industry moves toward more adaptive and connected workflows, we see intelligent video as the next major step forward in making these systems more aware, responsive, and easier to integrate into everyday operations," said Matthew Davis, Chief Technology Officer, PTZOptics. "At NAB, we're showing how we bring high-quality camera systems together with new layers of control, automation, and long-term flexibility. Move 4K with Horizon reflects where video production is heading – toward workflows that are easier to manage, smarter over time, and provide ongoing value with new capabilities delivered by intelligent video."

During the event, PTZOptics will present a series of demonstrations, including broadcast workflows featuring AI-driven auto-framing, multi-target tracking and remote 4K still capture. The Horizon platform will also be shown operating across desktop and mobile devices, with features such as real-time monitoring, voice tracking integration and continuous software updates.

A live sports production workflow will highlight synchronised multi-camera control and IP-based video and audio integration, while a hands-on “Test Drive” area will allow attendees to explore the company's broader product lineup.

In addition, PTZOptics will host a live production setup streaming interviews and content directly from the show floor via its YouTube channel, demonstrating flexible, mobile broadcast capabilities.

The company will also preview a new broadcast-focused camera platform, scheduled for release later in 2026. The system is expected to feature a 1-inch sensor, 4K60 output, AI-powered tracking and full broadcast integration, marking a further step forward in PTZ camera performance.

The showcase forms part of PTZOptics' wider Visual Reasoning initiative, which explores how robotics, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies can enable cameras to interpret and respond to live environments in real time.
