NEW VBRICK FROM THE UK OFFICE

THE UK Office, a major supplier and integrator of digital communications solutions, have announced the availability of the new VBrick MPEG-2 series of video codecs.
The VBrick 4000, 5000, and 6000 series provide broadcast quality video over IP and ATM networks and join the award-winning MPEG-1 product line.
The VBrick MPEG-2 series are dedicated stand-alone hardware encoders and decoders, specifically designed for high reliability and stability by not relying on computer-based operating systems. The video-stream is standard MPEG, which can be viewed using Windows MediaPlayer on any number of PC’s, further enhanced by a suite of software products for monitoring, streaming and recording of MPEG-2 streams.
Ideal for very high quality video imaging such as telemedicine and broadcast monitoring, the new MPEG-2 codecs complement the MPEG-1 range of applications of distance learning, surveillance, video-conferencing and streaming video to the Internet.
