Favorite Music Radio Manila Upgrades Studio With AEQ Digital Technology

Favorite Music Radio Manila (92.3) has completed a major renovation of its main broadcast studio, incorporating AEQ's latest digital technology to enhance its operations and sound quality.

The station, part of the well-established Favorite Music Radio group, reaches audiences across Manila and its surrounding suburbs, and is known for its entertainment programming and dedication to national and international music.

At the heart of the upgraded studio is AEQ's ultra-compact CAPITOL IP mixing console, which now manages and processes all signals produced in the studio. The fixed-configuration digital console features eight faders and offers maximum reliability for broadcast environments, with IP connectivity that provides 16 input channels and 16 output channels over AoIP.

The AEQ CAPITOL IP console also supports a wide range of inputs, including four mic/line inputs, 12 analog inputs, four AES/EBU stereo digital inputs, two stereo USB inputs, and two optional telephone lines. Additional multichannel digital audio links can be incorporated, including 16 AoIP channels via Ethernet or up to 64 MADI channels via fiber optic connections.

The console is widely used by regional broadcasters worldwide thanks to its combination of advanced digital features, IP capabilities, ease of operation, and robust construction, making it suitable for continuous use even in remote locations.
