Britt Broadcast Rolls Out Cinegy Air PRO For TBC's Four-Channel Playout

Cinegy GmbH has supplied a new four-channel playout platform to Tanzanian Broadcasting Corporation (TBC), with Britt Broadcast handling the negotiation, design and installation.

Nairobi-based Britt Broadcast Ltd, a leading systems integrator operating across East Africa and Ghana, specialises in tailored broadcast solutions for regional networks and represents major vendors.

TBC, the state-owned national broadcaster headquartered in Dar-Es-Salaam, sought to expand its network and required a dependable multi-channel Channel-in-a-Box (CIAB) solution with rapid deployment, an intuitive interface and straightforward operation. The broadcaster turned to its trusted partner, Britt Broadcast, for guidance.

Britt Broadcast recommended and deployed Cinegy Air PRO to address TBC's needs, improving the network's broadcast workflows.

Cinegy Air PRO delivers full channel origination in software, with a single server capable of running multiple channels from SD up to 8K, including mixed formats per output. The all-in-one approach appealed to TBC, with tools for logo and graphics overlays, subtitling, and automated control of external devices included.

Ease of integration was also key: Cinegy Air PRO supports SDI, NDI and IP streaming, and includes SRT for secure transport.
