DiGiCo Powers Jennifer Lopez's Historic Uzbekistan Debut

Jennifer Lopez's Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour made history in August when it became the first performance by an American A-list artist in Uzbekistan.

Staged at Tashkent's Bunyodkor Stadium, the show drew more than 31,000 fans and relied on DiGiCo Quantum consoles— a Quantum 326 at front of house and a Quantum 338 at monitors — supplied by leading local provider YASTREB-Sound.

Tashkent-based YASTREB-Sound, one of Central Asia's most prominent technical event suppliers, delivered the complete audio system for the landmark concert in the country’s largest stadium. Chief system engineer Eduard Asadov designed and calibrated the setup in close collaboration with Jennifer Lopez’s touring system engineer, Matt Coplon. The rig featured L-Acoustics K1 and K2 arrays with L2 elements, supported by KS28 and SB28 subwoofers, ensuring high-quality coverage for the vast audience.

The tour's engineering team includes internationally renowned professionals César Benítez and Craig Doubet. Monitor engineer Benítez has worked with major artists including Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias, while front of house engineer Doubet brings more than 30 years’ experience, with over two decades spent mixing in large-scale arenas worldwide.

Expanding on why the Quantum 326 is ideal for headline acts in major venues, Doubet said: "The Quantum 326 is on another level. I really enjoy working on this console. It offers an enormous channel count, exceptional flexibility, and powerful onboard tools like Mustard and Spice Rack processing, along with True Solo and customisable Macros. All these features streamline the workflow and enable quick, precise adjustments, whether it’s fine-tuning Jennifer’s vocals or managing the full band mix."

Doubet also made use of the seamlessly integrated Fourier Audio transform.engine, which enhances stability, delivers ultra-low latency and unlocks expanded creative options for dynamic processing. The latest DiGiCo v20 upgrade has further strengthened this integration, making the Quantum 326 even more capable for high-profile touring productions.

For YASTREB-Sound, supplying a concert of such scale represented a major milestone for the company and for Uzbekistan’s events industry. Asadov said the project demonstrated that the region is fully capable of hosting international-standard productions, boosting confidence in local expertise and resources.
