DiGiCo Launches Dual-Screen Quantum 225 DS Mixing Console

DiGiCo has introduced the Quantum 225 DS, a new dual-screen version of its compact mixing console, expanding the capabilities of the widely used Quantum 225 platform.

The updated model builds on the success of the original console, which has become a popular choice across live music venues, touring, festivals, theatres and houses of worship over the past five years. The Quantum 225 DS adds two integrated 17-inch, full-colour, daylight-bright TFT multitouch screens, replacing the single-screen bracket system found on the standard version and offering enhanced workflow control.

Designed for demanding live environments, the console can be further enhanced with DiGiCo's optional Pulse software package, increasing input channels from 72 to 96 and buss count from 36 to 48, while also expanding processing capabilities. Additional features such as Mix Minus are included, and users can integrate the optional T software package for theatre-specific functionality.

DiGiCo is also offering an upgrade path for existing Quantum 225 owners, allowing them to retrofit their consoles to the new DS specification.

The Quantum 225 DS is equipped with 41 mini TFT displays across its surface for detailed user feedback, along with a 12x12 matrix, multiple MADI and DMI ports, analogue and AES I/O, and integration options including Waves SoundGrid and Fourier Audio. Dual power supplies and expanded connectivity options make it suitable for high-pressure, fast-paced production settings such as festivals and live events.
