Audio-Technica ATUC-50 Integrates With Ross Quorum
Audio-Technica has announced that its ATUC-50 conference system is now fully compatible with Ross Video's Quorum software, offering seamless native integration.
This combination allows users to simplify live-meeting production by automatically switching video feeds based on active microphones and speaker identification. The integration is especially suited for environments such as city councils, legislative chambers, boardrooms, and large conference halls.
Ross Video's Quorum automation system streamlines control over cameras, switchers, and graphics, allowing a single operator to manage an entire meeting broadcast efficiently. Its automation features include mark-based camera positioning around tables, podiums, and lecterns, as well as intelligent guidance for precise camera movements and graphic placement. With a web-based interface accessible from any browser, Quorum can be scaled for multi-room setups. When paired with the ATUC-50, it minimizes the need for manual switching by linking microphone activity directly to the corresponding video feed, enabling instantaneous visual transitions that keep meetings smooth and professional.
Three mic modes are supported: Manual (operator can manually select speaker for adjustment and program), Semi-Automatic (speaker put in preview for operator to choose angle and adjust before program), and Full (puts speaker in preview, then cameras move, then speaker automatically goes to program). Quick setup is offered in the Quorum system via the Microphone Systems configuration panel.
Matt Markgraf, Audio-Technica Global Strategic Partnerships and Alliance Manager, said: "Audio-Technica is pleased to partner with Ross Video, together providing a reliable and high-quality broadcast-grade solution simplifying control room operations. Integrating the ATUC-50 with Quorum enables seamless and smarter meetings, automatically spotlighting speakers without manual switching, ultimately elevating the meeting experience."
