Little Dot Studios Achieves B Corp™ Certification

News Image
Little Dot Studios has officially earned B Corp™ certification, joining an exclusive group of just 2,500 UK businesses that includes The Guardian, Innocent Drinks, Patagonia, Tony's Chocolonely, Sipsmith Gin and The Jamie Oliver Group.

This recognition places Little Dot Studios among a select few media organisations to achieve this standard, a notable feat in an industry defined by vast content output, complex global production networks, and fast-changing environmental challenges.

Certified by B Lab, the non-profit organisation behind the global B Corp™ movement, this certification confirms that Little Dot Studios meets rigorous benchmarks for social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability, going far beyond traditional measures of shareholder success.

The certification process — a two-year, in-depth evaluation — assessed every aspect of the company’s operations, from governance and workforce practices to community engagement, environmental impact, and customer relationships. Achieving this milestone represents the culmination of years of strategic planning, performance measurement, and operational transformation across Little Dot Studios and its subsidiaries, including the specialist sports and branded content agency WING, and History Hit, Dan Snow’s podcast network and subscription video-on-demand platform.

Chris Turner, Executive Director of B Lab UK, said: "We are pleased to have B Corps™ of all shapes and sizes as part of our community - from startups to multinationals and across many different industries. Business is a powerful force and B Corps™ demonstrate that positive impact is possible in any sector. Welcoming Little Dot Studios is an exciting moment for the digital media and production industry. B Lab UK and the rest of the B Corp™ community are really pleased that the company is paving the way for a new way of doing things."

Dan Jones, CEO, Little Dot Studios, said: "Digital media is often overlooked in sustainability conversations. We are proving that large-scale production and distribution can be done responsibly, and we encourage the industry to follow. This achievement symbolises the importance of building a business which puts people and purpose at the heart of what we do for our clients, our staff, and the industry. Media, production and communication organisations have a huge role to play in leaving a positive impact on people and the planet. Little Dot Studios has a desire to hold ourselves accountable and inspire change by reducing impact and driving sustainability across our networks. We are immensely proud of how far we have come and achieving B Corp™ certification shows we are committed to creating a more purpose-driven, sustainable future - whilst also producing industry-leading work."

As a certified B Corp™, Little Dot joins a global community of just under 10,000 organisations globally holding B Corp™ certification, spanning 102 countries. Only a fraction of these operate at the scale, pace, complexity and volume of content that defines the digital media sector.
