OMNIBUS TO UNVEIL NEW PRODUCTS AT IBC 2001

AT IBC 2001, OmniBus Systems will be unveiling their new suite of Workflow and Task Management applications.
Designed to manage and track processes within a broadcast facility, it will also make life easier for operators by providing them with a ‘context-sensitive’ interface that will automatically present them with the tools they need to perform specific jobs.
The Workflow suite includes: Workflow Manager which provides high-level visibility and control of processes; Task Sheets which present individual operators with the tasks they need to complete, the deadline and the control surfaces that are relevant to their jobs and Task Supervisor which allows these options to be configured and offers status information on all tasks. If a job cannot be completed by one operator, the automatic task management will re-allocate the job to someone else.
In addition to this revolutionary approach to the work process, OmniBus Systems continues to enhance their existing range of end-to-end solutions and will be presenting its latest developments in the areas of news, playout and asset management at IBC. (CD)
