Dubai TV installs Chyron CODI-Strator

Chyron Corporation has announced that Dubai TV, a leading broadcaster in the Middle East, has taken delivery of CODI-Strator, Chyron's digital telestration sketchpad, for its Sports Network.
The installation was carried out by Chyron partner, Pro Media International Ltd UK.
Transmitting both live and pre-recorded major sporting events, Dubai TV uses CODI-Strator to enrich its programming by adding graphics, which can be sketched directly on to the touch screen monitor by the sports presenter during the broadcast. Throughout match intervals, the presenter can identify players and game plans on slow motion and freeze frame video, circling or marking with arrows specific areas on the screen.
"CODI-Strator is revolutionising the way sports commentators present their programmes by highlighting important points and strategies throughout the game," explained David Ward, VP & general manager, Chyron EAME. He added: "Dubai TV is a major player in the sports arena in the Middle East and we are delighted that it has selected Chyron to enhance its sports graphics solutions."
