HK Audio Helps Deliver Unforgettable Experience At Malaysia's Rock In The Jungle Festival

HK Audio helped to deliver an unforgettable experience at Malaysia's annual Rock in the Jungle festival.

The two-day event brought together a combination of local Malaysian and international rock artists from Indonesia and Singapore who all performed through a COSMO concert sound system on the main stage at the Sarawak Cultural Village.

From its humble beginnings nine years ago, Rock in the Jungle has rapidly become an iconic event that is the highlight of the year for local rock fans. Taking place at the end of December as an end of year celebration and organised by Authentic Ideas And Events, the most recent two-day festival featured performances from Wings, Sweet Charity, XPDC, Jemson, Criss X, JS Boys, Edane, Candy, Criss X, Senseless, and BNB Band.

To cover performances from the stellar line up, the FOH system for the main stage needed to deliver a powerful performance that would make for an unforgettable experience for the large audience. To achieve this in the humid conditions of Sarawak Cultural Village, HK Audio’s concert sound family was the only choice.

The main PA hangs comprised eight COSMO C10 and Four COSMO C6 per side. Low end support was from eight CSub218 and the same number of COSMO CF118 in end fire configuration to deliver precise and powerful bass. Side fill relied on a pair of LINEAR 5 MK2 115XA and six LINEAR Sub LSub4000A while front fill was courtesy of another pair of LINEAR 5 MK2 115XAs. On stage, monitoring was via 10 SONAR 115Xi wedges to ensure pristine sound for the performers.

The even coverage and powerful, premium sound of the HK Audio concert sound systems ensured an optimal listening experience across the festival grounds. With precise and powerful bass, crystal-clear highs and a balanced sound across the entire area, organisers, artists and audiences were all able to experience and enjoy the performances of every band.
