Brainstorm Demonstrates New XR Features Of Suite 6

News Image
Brainstorm is exhibiting at Broadcast Asia in Singapore from 29 to 31 May.

Brainstorm, which is proud of its 3 decade-long commitment with the industry – which underlines how a company focused on innovation can continue to excel year after year in the dynamic and ever evolving broadcast market, is demonstrating all the new XR features of the recently released Suite 6 of its flagship products, which take virtual production even further.

In partnership with ABCS, at booth 6F4-1 Brainstorm is showcasing its most advanced technologies, starting with a spectacular presentation in the main Virtual Production Theatre, demonstrating the immense possibilities InfinitySet offers for creating virtual content of all kind. The main demo displays advanced, photorealistic augmented and mixed reality content in a highly visually engaging presentation, by using a combination of chroma sets and LED videowalls.

Fully compatible with Unreal Engine 5.3, InfinitySet 6 includes full integration of its own created objects, or those of Aston, within the UE environment and vice-versa. These include shadows, reflections, and AR with Unreal Engine, providing unmatched flexibility for content creation.

Suite 6 also adds up new Dual-GPU capabilities of InfinitySet, which allows control of the whole demonstration with just one workstation, taking care of a virtual production with set extension with colour-matching 3D LUTs, camera inputs, in-context AR motion graphics, among other features such as real-time, seamless extra-render, fully immersive talent tele-transport, multi-background content and much more. InfinitySet 6 also features SMPTE 2110 support, to be compatible with the latest broadcast workflows.

Motion graphics are essential in any broadcast workflow, and Brainstorm is also demonstrating how Aston can provide designers with the most advanced tools for data-driven, in-context, AR graphics, which can be displayed in immersive virtual environments, including UE scenes, and seamlessly interact with the scene and the talents. Aston shows how multi-channel graphics and collaborative workflows can easily and transparently be part of any broadcast show.

For creating immersive presentations of any kind for corporate and education environments, Edison will demonstrate the latest developments in the Edison Ecosystem, including EdisonGO, a custom-built capture environment that provides video and tracking information from an iPad, or Edison OnDemand, which facilitates the playout of a presentation in an immersive environment from a web browser.
