FOLLOWING THE recent launch of Pinnacle Studio software, an advanced video editing software for the consumer video hobbyist, Pinnacle Systems have announced that the full range of Studio products will be enhanced with the new version of the software.
The new Pinnacle Studio range will offer extra functionality without increasing in price.
Current Studio DV and Studio DVplus users can upgrade to the new Studio software for £49.99 RRP via selected retail and mail order partners or via the Pinnacle e-store at Also available at the Pinnacle e-store, you can purchase the Studio upgrade plus an extra 100 HollywoodFX 3D transitions for around £60 plus shipping costs. Current Studio DC10plus users will be able to upgrade to the new Studio software from mid September via the Pinnacle e-store.
Users of other Pinnacle Studio products including Studio 400, Studio PCTV, Studio MP10, Studio Action and Studio Online, will soon be able to find information on compatibility and availability on the web site.
The new features of the studio include: Fast and slow motion video; Split audio/video edits so that users can edit audio and video independently; Professional quality 3D transitions from Hollywood FX; Colour correction to adjust hue, saturation, brightness and contrast; Blur, mosaic, posterise and emboss; New TitleDeko rolling credits and crawling titles; Audio crossfades during transitions; MP3 audio import and digital audio CD ripping; Highlight and locate album scenes used in current movie; Easier editing tools like razor cut tool to split a clip and Free space on our web-based video sharing server at
