Rushes promote Hannaford to Head of Visual Effects

Rushes Postproduction has announced that Paul Hannaford has been promoted to Head of Visual Effects with immediate effect.
Prior to joining Rushes in 1994 as Senior Editor, before being promoted to Senior Visual Effects Artist, Hannaford worked as an online editor in his native Canberra before joining VHQ in Singapore & Malaysia. Hannaford had previously worked at Speckert & Partner in Hamburg.
In his new role as Head of Visual Effects, Hannaford will be responsible for the Visual Effects Department, encompassing Flame, Inferno, Fire, Combustion and Backdraft. He will also continue to work as an Effects Artist and VFXShoot Supervisor.
Hannaford is involved with every stage of the production process from storyboard quotation, shoot supervision, leading the 12-strong VFX team and ensuring work is carried out to the highest creative standards. He will also be involved with implementing and advising on new technologies that will ensure Rushes maintains its position as one of the worlds leading post houses.
Hannaford has been responsible for producing work for clients including Ford, Dove, Hugo Boss, Jaguar, Lego, Marks & Spencer, Nokia, Shell, Smirnoff Red, Playstation, Virgin Mobiles, Betaband and Michael Jackson.
