               SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT SEEK PRODUCTION COMPANY
                    THE SCOTTISH Parliament's Education Service, in association with Learning and Teaching Scotland, are seeking a Production Company to produce on their behalf an imaginative and educational film explaining the role, functions and operations of the Scottish Parliament.
The film is likely to run for around 20 minutes with a target audience of 10-14 year olds, but should be of equal value as an informative resource for people of all ages.
The commission is likely to be confirmed by December 2001 with delivery of the completed film required for April 2002.
The successful company must be able to demonstrate the following: Experience of script development and production of educational films/programmes; Knowledge and understanding of the Scottish education system and public life and Experience of project management in particular co-ordinating with different organisations in partnership projects.
Companies should indicate their interest in bidding for this commission including a brief reference to the criteria above. Applications are required by September 28 2001. All applications will be evaluated and the successful companies will receive a copy of the tender documents during week commencing October 8 2001.
