CJP Broadcast To Promote Range Of Products At MPTS 2022

News Image
CJP Broadcast Service Solutions will promote its extensive range of services and products for the broadcast and wider television industry on stand L440 at the Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS), Olympia London, Wednesday May 11th through Thursday May 12th.

Centrepiece of the exhibit will be an optical camera tracking system comprising a Mo-Sys StarTracker, Mo-Sys VP Pro XR server and Bendac infiLED panels. CJP will demonstrate a complete solution including the new Cinematic XR Focus Pull, Multi-Camera Switching and Digital Tracking with Brompton Technology 4K LED screen processors.

"MPTS offers a good opportunity for visitors to experience the latest TV production technology first-hand," CJP Managing Director Chris Phillips comments. "The broadcast and wider media business is in healthy resurgence following the market distortion caused by two years of lockdown. We are experiencing strong demand from the broadcast, corporate and university sectors where the high efficiency and creative flexibility of virtual studio systems are increasingly being recognised. We will also be promoting our proven skills in live sports production and archive digitisation."

Among recent Mo-Sys projects completed by CJP was a 4K-UHD virtual studio for the University of Sunderland. This includes a StarTracker Studio with a camera tracking unit, wireless-linked handheld StarTracker Viewfinder and Cartoni JibO lightweight jib. CJP has also provided and integrated Kinoflow Diva Lite 401 LED luminaires plus a Zero 88 FLX S24 lighting control desk, high-grade green-screen walls and flooring. The studio itself has a 6 x 6 metre floor area and is 4 metres high. Installed at the university’s David Puttnam Media Centre, the resource gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience in latest-generation virtual studio production techniques.

CJP will be represented at MPTS 2022 by founder/MD Chris Phillips, Technical Manager James Ruddock, Sales & Marketing Manager Kieran Phillips and Digitisation Technician Louis Shaw. Representatives from Mo-Sys and Bendac will also attend.
