Gearhouse Broadcast announce Video Forum camcorder competition
Gearhouse Broadcast sales team have announced a competition to win a camcorder and a website auction as part of their attendance at this year's Video Forum.
As well as showcasing some of their Sony DVCAM range, they will also have Sennheiser radio mic equipment and Vinten tripods on display and during the show they are running a competition for attendees to win a Sony DSR-PD170P camcorder. This recently launched camcorder is a result of an upgraded DSR-PD150 offering improved performance, ergonomic and operational capabilities. For those unable to attend the show, there are details of the competition in the next edition of Camcorder User magazine.
In addition when the show concludes on Thursday, February 12, Gearhouse Broadcast will begin an auction on their website www.gearhousebroadcast.com of the following camcorders: 1 x Sony DSR-570WSPL, 1 x Sony DSR-390PK2, 1 x Sony DSR-250P, 1 x Sony DSR-PD170P,1 x Sony DSR-PDX10P and VTR's:, 1 x Sony DSR-11, 1 x Sony DSR-25, 1 x Sony DSR-45P, 1 x Sony DSR-1500AP, 1 x Sony DSR-50P.
The auction will last for one week and top bidders will be notified on Friday February 20th if their bid was successful. At the end of each day their website will highlight the top five bidders and bids for each product to enable people to go in and place counter bids.
“We believe this concept of a Broadcast Auction on our website is the first of its kind and if successful could be something we consider on a more regular basis,” said Sales Manager, Tony Bismarck.
