Ark VFX launches new website

A new website for Sheffield based Ark VFX has just been launched, designed to promote the company’s considerable portfolio of artwork and imagery.
Since its launch last year, the company has been winning new contracts which meant that the existing website needed to be updated with news and developments, but rather than simply update the site, the team decided to undertake a complete revamp.
“We've developed as a company in a short space of time and everyone agreed that the existing site needed to be revised in terms of content and design,” explained Andy Turner, co-founder. “The new site emphasises our areas of expertise and increases the visual impact of the team's work.”
Visitors to the site can read the latest news from Ark and visit the ‘visuals’ pages, which contain a selection of some sixty images of the team’s concept and production artwork, matte paintings and 3D animation.
To complement the work on the website, there is a full version of the show reel on DVD and a portfolio on CD-ROM which prospective clients can order online at www.arkvfx.net.
