Channel 5 Commissions Rebooted Quiz Show With Gino D'Acampo

News Image
Channel 5 has commissioned Stellify Media to produce the new rebooted game show 'Gino's Win Your Wish List', hosted by TV personality/chef Gino D'Acampo.

Gino's Win Your Wish List (WT) will see five members of a family compete to win their perfect prizes. Bringing in their own sofa from home, each family member will answer questions or take part in games to 'win their wish list'. Each individual family member competes for their own prize to take through to the final round, where they will choose two family members to win the star prize of a family holiday.

With a digital floor which tracks each contestant's progress, family members must decide who is playing which game once the category is revealed. The floor lights move from green to red, green for correct answers or progress in a game, red for incorrect answers or hesitation. If the floor is green when the time is up the prize is banked for the final round. If the floor is red, the prize is lost.

Sean Doyle, commissioning editor at Channel 5 said: "Win Your Wish List is a compelling series and with format tweaks and Gino as master of ceremonies, we're very confident that the show will appeal to a Channel 5 audience."

Matthew Worthy, MD of Stellify said: "Wish List has always been a show I'd love to make, it's a brilliant format which has all the elements of a great family game show and we're delighted to be working with Channel 5 to bring it back. Everything about it is geared to bringing the family together -  from the fantastic prizes, to the excitement of the quiz, there is something for everyone. We have taken a great quiz show and turned it in to a family game show. We're delighted to have Gino on board as the presenter – we think he's the perfect choice to bring all the elements together."

The pilot was produced from Belfast and the series will be produced and filmed in Manchester. Gino's Win Your Wish List is coming to Channel 5 this summer.
