IABM has announced that internationally acclaimed business guru, leadership speaker, media personality and author, René Carayol MBE, will deliver the keynote speech to close the first day of its Annual International Business Conference on 30th November 2017.

A dynamic, assertive, authoritative and interactive speaker, Carayol champions high-performing company culture over strategy or marketing as the foundation for business success. He asks awkward and uncomfortable questions, with electrifying effect – here are a few typical reactions to Carayol's presentations:
'René ensured the perfect balance of challenge and support instantly reading the dynamic in the room and using his experience to get the most out of every session.' – bank.
'René had everyone buzzing with enthusiasm and renewed vigour for their profession.' – professional organization.
'Your talk was no less than inspirational!' - university.
'You engaged with the whole crowd, said some powerful things and left us with quite a challenge to make our mark! …You are truly inspirational.' - healthcare organization.

Carayol has been Chairman, CEO and MD of blue chip businesses, coached Fortune 500 CEOs and worked with many heads of state. He is also a Visiting Professor at Cass Business School and is a regular commentator on BBC and Sky News.

This unique combination of skills and experience have given him unique insights into how to get the most out of everyone in an organization by focusing on the company's core culture. By identifying what each person is great at and developing their leadership skills, Carayol's methods deliver a 'strengths-based revolution' – transforming business performance.

Carayol has distilled all this knowledge into his recently published book – SPIKE – a philosophy based on the premise that 'Strengths Positively Identified Kick-start Excellence'. He will be explaining how business leaders can tap this philosophy to manage less and lead more – to the enormous advantage of every orgnaization. Carayol's messages inspire audiences by showing them not only what lies within their grasp, but also how true collaboration makes everyone stronger – a message that will resonate throughout the broadcast and media industry.

Peter White, IABM CEO, said: "René Carayol's philosophy dovetails perfectly with both the theme of our conference – Elevating Business – and our industry's move towards collaboration to secure its future prosperity. René is a truly inspirational speaker and I am certain that delegates will leave not only motivated, but also armed with practical steps they can take to begin a strengths-based revolution in their own businesses."
