Movietech Upgrade Memory On Phantom Flex4K

News Image
Movietech has announced that it has upgraded its Phantom Flex4K cameras with 128GB of internal RAM. The upgrade doubles the duration of the standard recording time.

The Phantom Flex4K is able to capture between 15 and 1000 frames per second at 4K full resolution, while theSuper 35mm sensor delivers detail with low noise and high dynamic range. The unit can also run up to 2000fps shooting at 2K/1080.

The on-board RAM determines the available recording time, dependant on frame rate/resolution, and with the addition of the 128GB internal memory package, this expands the image capture capability by allowing the Flex4K to record for twice as long at all resolutions and frame rates.

John Buckley, Managing Director, Movietech, commented: "The Phantom Flex is a superb high speed unit that can capture remarkable detail. We've added the internal memory upgrade to improve the recording time and it's fantastic to see clients from all areas of the industry using the system to deliver some sensational results."
