Canon To Present 4K Solutions At IBC

At IBC2017, Stand 12.D60, Canon will demonstrate its latest 4K workflow solutions for broadcasters and filmmakers.

Among the products on show will be the new Canon professional 4K/UHD/50P entry into the Cinema EOS range, the EOS C200, plus the CN-E70-200mm T4.4 L IS cine lens, and the CN E18-80mm T4.4 L IS KAS S.

The EOS C200 is a Cinema EOS camera to feature Cinema RAW light format. It features an advanced AF system that provides reliability and accuracy when shooting 4K and also includes a high quality LCD panel. For users who need to switch between several subjects in a single shot, the Dual Pixel CMOSAF enables smooth AF operation, while the manual focus assist function, face detection with face priority and face-only options provide greater creative focus control.

The CN-E70-200 mm T4.4 L IS cine-lens and the CN E18-80mm T4.4 L IS KAS S are two of Canon's compact cine-servo versatile lenses. Designed for professional and advanced amateur videographers using large-format, single-sensor cameras, these lenses take advantage of 4K, integrated servo control and effortless switching between several subjects in a single shot.
