Emergency Fire To Host PfCO Training Course

News Image
Emergency Fire has announced that it is to hold a Permission for Commercial Operation (PfCO) training course at its training venue in Co Antrim this July and September.

What is Permission for Commercial Operation?
Permission for Commercial Operation is a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirement if you wish to fly small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS), small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or drones on a commercial basis (i.e. conducting 'aerial work' for payment or valuable consideration), or fly a camera/surveillance-fitted aircraft within congested areas or close to people and properties that are not under your control.

How do I apply for PfCO?
Emergency Fire is recognised by the CAA as a National Qualified Entity (NQE). This allows the company to deliver courses that train and assess candidates on their overall airmanship skills, knowledge and operating capabilities. On successful completion, pilots can operate safely, in strict accordance with CAA regulations, and can obtain PfCO to fly legally in the UK.

As spaces on the courses are filling, interested parties are asked to contact Emergency Fire for a quote.
