First Dates Hotel To Return

Channel 4 has announced the commission of a second series of First Dates Hotel.

A number of singletons looking for love will be welcomed to the hotel – this time located in Southern Italy – by Maître D' Fred Siriex and his team.

Guests who are looking for 'The One' are invited by the First Dates team to a more intensive and tailor-made matchmaking experience. The format means that those on a successful first date are able to extend their stay at the property and enjoy the Italian countryside. For those who aren't as successful, they will be re-matched for a second chance to find the perfect partner. Dates will include poolside lunches and candle-lit meals under the stars.

Commissioning Editor, Madonna Benjamin, said: "This beautiful hotel will offer the perfect setting for a blind date to remember and the holiday atmosphere will enable daters to be relaxed and ready to meet the love of their lives."

First Dates Hotel has been commissioned by Madonna Benjamin and Rita Daniels. Twenty Twenty Productions will produce the 12x60' series, with Barnaby Coughlin as Executive Producer and Adam Chapman as Series Editor.
